TRUCK DRIVERS (CDL AND NON-CDL)

Location: Lorton, VA

Type: Full-Time

Warehouse Manager

Location: Lorton, VA

Type: Full Time

We are seeking an authoritative Warehouse Manager to enhance warehouse activities and empower employees for additional growth. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identifies and implements best practices for more efficient warehousing activities
  • Performs warehouse audits to verify accuracy of inventory and associated locator system
  • Schedules warehouse staff in accordance with company guidelines
  • Prepares warehouse and equipment for morning dispatch to facilitate timely departure of crews
  • Oversees receipt of household goods and freight shipments, ensures any/all exceptions are documented, warehousemen appropriately prepare articles for storage, items are labeled and stored properly, and inventory location is documented for control

Training/Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a full-time Training/Quality Control Manager with excellent organizational and leadership skills to train employees and assess performance both in-house and in the field to ensure we maintain the high standards that have made us who we are today. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conducting new hire orientations with introductory skills assessments and training
  • Establishing and maintaining an appropriate training regimen to include proper packing, moving, customer service, and driving techniques for all employees
  • Working closely with Operations Department to coordinate on-site quality control visits, and providing remedial training and/or counseling sessions to employees who exhibit substandard performance
  • Evaluating employee performance to produce customer satisfaction scores in accordance with company standards
  • Conducting time in motion studies to ensure crews are working at an acceptable pace without sacrificing the quality of work performed
  • Educating employees on various regulations and enforcing rules/procedures for compliance

CREW MEMBERS – MOVERS/PACKERS

Household Goods Movers and Packers serve as the backbone of Quality Services Moving. They display a professional demeanor while making our clients feel at ease during a time that can be very stressful. Movers are responsible for safely and efficiently loading clients belonging onto a straight truck or tractor trailer. After transporting the belongings to either the new residence or back to the warehouse for storage, movers will unload the same vehicle. Movers will ensure they take the utmost care in protecting our client’s home goods and reducing the risk of damage in any way possible. This role will involve heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Packers are responsible for pre-packing a client’s home to get it ready for the future scheduled move. This role will involve lifting, standing for long periods of time, bending, and moving boxes. You don’t often hear people say they want to be a professional mover or packer when they grow up. Forklift Operators

Location: Lorton, VA

Type: Full Time

Forklift Operators needed for established and busy Northern Virginia Relocation Company! Monday through Saturday work.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Carefully stacking/unstacking/rearranging wooden storage vaults
  • Maintaining accountability of household goods shipments to include documenting the number of vaults occupied by shipper, contents of vaults, and vault location(s) within warehouse facility
  • Receiving shipments into warehouse and documenting any exceptions concerning items received and/or their condition
  • Packing household goods items into vaults and/or preparing oversized pieces for rack storage

Payroll Representative

We have an opening for Payroll Representative to process payroll and perform general HR functions. We are seeking a Claims Representative to receive, investigate, evaluate and appropriately resolve household goods claims stemming from domestic and international relocations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promptly recording all claims received and uploading data into management systems to initiate claims process
  • Thoroughly investigating claims by identifying applicable coverage, analyzing shipment documents, evaluating circumstances, and assessing liability in accordance with regulations and company guidelines
  • Effectively communicating claims-related matters to customers, and other applicable internal and external business partners
  • Conducting statistical analysis on claims data and reporting findings, coordinating closely with Training and Quality Control to achieve desired results

Fleet Dispatcher – Local Operations

 Location: Lorton, VA

Type: Full-Time 

We are currently seeking a Fleet Dispatcher to assist our Local Operations Department with dispatching vehicles and employees daily while coordinating other operational activities. As a Dispatcher, you will be in direct daily contact with customers and crews for moves. It is critically important to maintain contact with the leader of each crew to ensure jobs are being performed according to established guidelines in a timely fashion and that sufficient materials/equipment are available to complete the work. This position requires strong leadership, motivation, and discipline, as well as a positive, service-oriented attitude with exceptional problem-solving skills, in addition to being able to physically assist both movers and packers with their daily responsibilities. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assists with scheduling and dispatching of crews, providing oversight to ensure all necessary labor, materials, and equipment arrive at each job site in a timely manner
  • Receives and maintains communications with crews regarding job status, problems, customer satisfaction, payment, etc.
  • Upholds and enforces company standards and policies such as attendance and uniforms
  • Calculates and communicates move charges to crews, processes credit card payments, and relays authorization numbers

Recruiter (Non-Technical)

We are seeking a dedicated Recruiter (Non-Technical) to drive full life cycle recruiting activities and source the best talent for both field and office positions across multiple locations.   • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet corporate goals and objectives

Minimum qualifications:

  • Demonstrated consecutive 2+ years of direct recruiting experience for all levels, exempt and non-exempt, and to include subcontract labor in a corporate, “for-profit” environment with relevant experience in the transportation, hospitality, construction, and/or similar service-related industries
  • 2+ years in Human Resources Department performing tasks similar to those described above
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations, especially as they pertain to hiring
  • A professional demeanor with appropriate presence and tact to suitably represent company in various environments

Bookkeeper Accountant 

 Location: Lorton, VA

Type: Full-Time 

Bookkeeper Accountant with a strong work ethic, high standards, and a winning attitude to join our team for continued growth. Primary responsibilities for the Bookkeeper Accountant role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensures timely entry of financial data to prepare and deliver month end financials to the CFO by the 10th of the following month
  • Receives bills and reviews for accuracy, disputes inaccurate charges, and processes approved bills for payment
  • Matches up check payments to corresponding bill(s) and mails payments to appropriate payment address
  • Receives and posts payments and works to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepares and makes bank deposits and records deposits into QuickBooks
  • Makes online payments, records payment into QuickBooks, and retains proof of payment for files
  • Receives expense receipts and processes reimbursements
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial reports and supporting records using organized file system
  • Identifies expense trends and makes cost-savings recommendations
  • Keeps chart of accounts and customer/vendor lists accurate and up-to-date

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years demonstrated bookkeeping and/or other accounting-related experience
  • Computer literate with proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise, MS Office applications, Internet Explorer, and Windows
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, with strong analytical and organizational skills

Fleet Manager 

 Location: Lorton, VA

Type: Full-Time 

Responsibilities for the Fleet Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Schedules and administers fleet maintenance, assists in troubleshooting problems with equipment. Communicates availability of vehicles for service with dispatch and other operations personnel.
  • Conducts daily truck checks upon their return to base for cleanliness, maintenance, and security reasons
  • Must have the ability to track and control parts inventories, vendors and suppliers.
  • This is a “Working Manager” position: 50% manager, 50% hands-on mechanic work
  • Appropriately manages budget for maintenance program
  • Ensures compliance on a day-to-day basis with State, Federal and Company requirements. Ensures a safe environment exists and that all maintenance and related activities are in conformance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviews repair orders. May order fuel for vehicles, order parts, and subcontract repair work.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of Diesel Truck Engine mechanical experience
  • 2+ years of experience in transportation industry, with extensive knowledge of fleet compliance and DOT regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL A Preferred) with no major violations or at fault accidents in the last 3 years
  • Industry experience repairing and maintaining automotive or diesel engines is required
  • A professional demeanor with appropriate presence and tact to suitably represent company in various environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills using the English language.
  • Ability to identify cost savings measures in all aspects of business practice.

Warehouse Supervisor

Our Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and performs the following duties including, but not limited to:

  • Upholds cleanliness, order, safety, and accountability standards in warehouse and keeps necessary records for compliance purposes
  • Prepares warehouse and equipment for morning dispatch to facilitate timely departure of crews

MS DYNAMCIS CRM DEVELOPER

Location:  Lorton, VA

At Quality Services Moving, technology plays a crucial role in our decades of double-digit growth.  Since 1995, our dedicated team has brought relocation intelligence to the marketplace to satisfy consumers’ demand for accountability in the industry and exceed their relocation experience.  We are seeking an experienced MS Dynamics CRM Developer for full process design and system customizations to accommodate multiple business units and revenue streams.  Production support, performance maintenance, effective design for security and application stability are also critical to meet functional and technical requirements.  As our MS Dynamics CRM Developer, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Design, implement, test and maintain MS Dynamics CRM 365 based solutions
  • Map business requirements to MS Dynamics CRM
  • Manage and follow Agile/SCRUM process to upgrade existing application and follow certain process of upgrading or enhancing business critical applications
  • Develop or enhance custom applications, interfaces, scripts, plug-ins, workflow and other items for Dynamics CRM as needed
  • Develop or enhance custom integrations and workflow solutions that operate on large amounts of data 
  • Create or enhance SSRS Reports and integrate with CRM data
  • Integrate with third party systems/applications via APIs
